So I got my carbon fiber dash kit in the mail yesterday from Burtman. It's pretty nice. Not as many pieces as some other kits, but very high quality. Tapered edges are nice, but the pieces are a bit thick, so they sit raised on their locations. Adds a nice touch, not sure if I'm going to put the center piece on the radio bezel yet, it might be too much. I like the door accents and the vents, center area around shifter is nice, but doesn't cover whole area so it looks stuck on. I'll try to post up pics, I know someone will flame me with a "useless w/o pics" post! Overall nice upgrade but a bit pricey. On a scale of 1-10 for satisfaction, I'd give it a 6.

If you like it, it's all that matters.

The carbon fiber itself looks awesome because it's real, I was at a Benz dealership yesterday and saw a few CLK AMG Black editions which had real carbon fiber spoilers, lips and interiors. This stuff looks exactly like it except for the fact that it's stuck on.

I didn't have to take anything off to put the kit on, i just had the standard interior and stuck everything on. In my past experience, this stuff comes off pretty easily and the 3m adhesive comes off cleanly.

um, but how much did it cost???:D
