Finally settled out of court with Nissan Canada over issues with my 04 Armada LE. After 46 defects, (3 of which they could never fix) I took them to court. I disposed of the truck in Jan 06 after 2 yrs of hell and bought an 06 QX56 which I love. For all the Canadian members having trouble dealing with Nissan and/or the dealer just go ahead and take them to small claims court. Dont waste your time with the Canadian Canvap program (arbitration) as it very much favours the manufacturer. There are 2 key president setting cases in Canada allowing consumers to sue for Loss of Enjoyment and mental anguish resulting from the manufcaturer or dealer not reacting to or repairing legitimate defect issues. The range in payout for this is $5K to $7K per defect. In addition the claiment is also entitled to recoup all out of pocket expenses relating to getting the vehicle to and from the dealer, all expenses incured trying to repair the vehicle and loss of value if the vehicle is devalued due to the defects or because it had to be traded in prematurely.

Ubfortunatley in Canada we do not have a lemon law as is the case in the US but dont let Nissan off the hook if you have issues.

I will be happy to help anyone in Canada who is in the same situation I was. I would like to see Nissan compensate conmsumers for rushing such a piece of junk to the market without working the bugs out and jerking them around after the purchased.
