Anything forward from the Throttle Body and from the Cat to the back is green light territory.

Make sure you get the right tubing and whoever does the work knows what they're doing or swapping that 'Y' pipe for dual pipes can kill your back pressure and do more harm than good. Some of the Titan guys have turned their truck into a bogged turtle by having it done wrong and had to redo it all.

Why anyone want to do this mod to their trucks? Besides spending money and making your truck super load and unforgiven at freeway cruising speeds...do you any adidtional performance?

Any thoughts?

A supped up Titan Crew Cab pulled up next to me at the traffic light...even though my Bose was blasting listing to XM, I could still hear his dual exhaust...of course he wanted a lil' action so he got it...I smoked his A** and then I slowed down in fears of a fat ticket and higher insurance rates...

I noticed that 22" rims rolling on 305 tires slow down our trucks...although they handle better they seem slower.

If they're done right, duals can allow more airflow and improve performance.

The first mods to my little Bro's '93 RX7 were a CAI and Fat (Fart) Pipe Exhaust that we put on. With just those two mods, we were smoking 911 Turbos on the Drag Track. The problem was traction, we were limited on rear tire width due to shallow fender wells so we had to run it on rediculously expensive Sticky's at the track.

Do the dual exhausts have an H-pipe or X-pipe?

Note: there are few trick stock car setups that are single exhaust.

You know you can get around the higher insurance rates caused by a moving violation. When the cop writes you a ticket, the ticket goes into the computer to be recorded and payment history etc.. If your ticket is say $200 dollars, write your check/money order to county clerk for $201. All you have to pay is an extra dollar. That way the county registers the ticket as paid but still open due to overpayment. They will send you a refund check for the difference. When you get the check in the mail, tear it up and trash it. It's only a dollar. The insurance company will only raise your rates if they see you got a ticket. The county cannot release the information cause the ticket is still open and the ticket is paid. I have one sitting like that right now.
