I have recently purchased a 2007 Armada. It was a Demonstrator vehicle with 3000 miles on it. A week after my vehicle was delivered to me I started to notice the rear brakes were grinding while backing. It sounds almost as if the pads are grabbing while in reverse. There are no other symptons or problems. Brakes work good in Drive, and am experiencing no other issues. Anyone have some ideas to throw out there?

I had this happen on my Montero and the rear caliper had locked up. I replaced it and everything was back to normal. But with yours being so new I think that should not be the case. I think it is time to take it to the dealership and let them fix it for you :)

Welcome to CA Cheapshot!

Grinding or grabbing, take it back for them to fix it. It shouldn't have any issues like this since you just took delivery!

Welcome to the Club!!! I wouldn't mess with it and would just have them fix it.

I've had a caliper sieze on my '02 Yukon. Dunno how it happened. Take it to the dealer for repairs. Shouldn't have brake issues this early.
