so i got my headrest monitor installed today. I had the installer put the dvd player in the center console like Pops did. I didnt want to use the wireless FM transmitter so i opted to use the "AUX" input. I had him put a RCA to 3.5" jack in inorder to just the AUX line. The thing is the volume has to be turn to the max for me to get decent sound. I have read the other thread regarding this and it seems the only thing i can do is get the PIE LD1 line driver. How easy is this to install? I believe i read some where in this forum i will still have to splice the rca wires and solder it to teh line driver. is this correct? Splicing wire is the last thing i wanted to do hence i opted for the AUX line.

The PIE-LD1 is a piece of cake to install with no splicing. It just needs power and an extra set of RCA cables. You attach the Power, RCA In, RCA Out, and you're good to go. ;)
