I would like to replace my 2005 Nissan Armada steering wheel with a steering wheel from an Infiniti QX56. I have located a donor Infiniti in Canada but it has the adaptive cruise controls in the steering wheel.....can I remove my stereo controls and cruise controls from my steering wheel and transfer them over to the Infiniti wheel?

I think you should be able to but you need to keep in mind that a Shop MUST do the swap for you. The old days of using your own Steering Wheel Puller are gone thanks to these wonderful airbags we have these days. :rolleyes: I'm pretty sure it's illegal in most states to do it yourself and alot of smaller shops won't even mess with them either.

I'm not worried about the install....I am in pretty good with my local Nissan dealership so I should be able to get them to install it for next to nothing. I just wanted to know if there is a way to swap the wiring and buttons over to the new steering wheel.

From the Pics I've seen, the QX Steering Wheel looks exactly the same as the Armada's so I don't see why it wouldn't work.

Thanks Pops. I think I found what I needed at Infiniti parts usa.com....from the looks of this part breakdown, I'm pretty sure that it can be done.

Yup....I already have a burtman's dash kit installed so I am going to go with the woodgrain steering wheel. I will post pictures once I get it.
