I recently changed my plugs (59,800), and believe me worth while. I used NGK Iridium plugs. Very simple to do, just disconnect the coil and then pull out your plugs. I noticed the difference immediately, smother idle, and faster pickup.

Hi nyc2005armada! Is a torque wrench necessary for putting new plugs? Not sure what kinda torque wrench is needed to get down there. Appreciate advice. Thanks.

No torque wrench. German torque. Although the maint. book will have a number. Don't use Gorilla torque...negative results.

Are those pre-gapped? On a scale from 1-10 -- What was the difference you noticed in pick-up gains?

transmission drain is simple. Best way drop the pan, replace the gasket (get it from autopartswarehouse), refill with fluid, I used Amsoil as recommended here.
