Hello all,
I have recetly purchased a 08 pathfinder and i need to add a Flip down. I would like to get a 15-17" flip down and would like for it to do the fallowing:
- Have the audio controlled from the stock dash and have the option to listen to music while the kids use headphones. (is this even possible)
- Maybe hook a playstation2 to it, have just the audio come into the headphones atleast.
Thanks for helping,

Could you please suggest the parts that i will need and maybe a flip down also, Grey is the color of choice.
Thanks,
Marc
Welcome to the Club!!!
For the PS2, it'd just be a matter of wiring some RCA cables that feed into the DVD Player and/or Monitor. 15"-17" is pretty big so it'll take some shopping to find one for a decent price. You can check with one of our sponsors, Tech12volts.com (http://www.Tech12volts.com) to see what he carries. I put a Panasonic 10" Player/Monitor in wifey's Murano and it works well. If you want to go more with an OEM install, the Myron & Davis AD212 player w/ ANS185 8.5" monitor is a clean install.

This is mine with the 7.8" Monitor: http://www.clubarmada.com/forums/vbpicgallery.php?do=view&g=259
As for playing over the factory radio, you can use an FM Modulator to play over a designated radio station or you can splice an RCA cable into the backside of your AUX Jack and use a PIE LD-1 Amp. I have an FM Modulator that I pulled when I hardwired mine that I can sell to you if you don't find a good price on one but they're usually pretty cheap.

Welcome to CA.
That's a big monitor:eek: that you are planning on getting. Good luck with that. Your rear view mirror will be useless while it is down and in use, so if you are not already familiar, get used to driving and depending on your side mirrors.

Sounds all so very good. I wont be installing it myself, because i would mess it up. However, I would like to buy the big parts and then get it installed. 15-17" is big, so maybe a 10" would be better. I dont want the factory look. I want the thing screen look if possible.
Thanks guys!!!!

Here is a better picture. Paspasero notes it's an XO Vision 15.4" he got from ebay for $180.

I like it, how do you like the size? does it really get in the way that much? How is it controlled? do you have a remote, can you listen it through speakers or just headphones, maybe both? Did you install it? how much did everything cost?
thanks
Paspasero hasn'rt been on for a couple months, you may want to send him a PM.
