You'd have to find the source of the problem causing the error code to fix it permanently. :( I'm pretty sure we got the same SRS system as on other Nissans and Infinitis so we might be able to find some troubleshooting steps posted across other forums. I haven't seen any on the Titan sites yet but that doesn't mean they're not there waiting to be found.

My light kept coming on and would not go off. Took it to dealer and they replaced the passenger seat belt. Has worked fine ever since.

I have done the procedure that is posted on the link but the only thing that i can get the light to do is blink in the slower manner and now all it does is blink in the slow manner. Any thoughts

It took me a few goes to get the light to go off following the method on here, so if at first you don't succeed try again.

I traced mine to loose wiring under the seat, the light would come on if I changed the angle of the seat base. My son also kicks his shoes under the seat when we are on a long run which hit the wiring and set the light off again.

it worked for few days and came back again, is it better to take it to the dealer for troubleshooting?.. isn't it supposedly covered by nissan even though my initial factory warrant ran out about 1000miles ago?,, since i had this problem way before my warranty ran out. they fixed it once before warranty was out... anyone with same problem?

If it was reported and not fixed correctly before the warranty expired then it's still covered as an unresolved problem and don't let 'em give you any lip about it either.

Unicca,
I had the same issue! I have a 2005 mada and when it happened to me I was pi--ed. The dealers told me that I would have to pay a diagnosis fee and I did and they could not find the problem. FINALY- I found a delaership that found the problem. It was seatbelt wiring harness located under the front passenger seat!. They also told me that it is covered under a 7 year seatbelt safety warranty. They called and even verified through Nissan USA. I have never had an issue since. BTW- Welcome to the club!

Well chalk me up as one with a "airbag light" problem. I saw it a week ago, and it's been on ever since. Today was the first day I could get it to the dealership. Anyway I picked up my Armada, started her up, and all is good...no lights flashing.

Then I hop on I-80 East and the light started flashing, and is now doing it constantly.

Dealership claimed it was an "old" light, and that there was no current fault, so they just reset it. When I saw the light again, I called and gave them a head's up that it's back and after less than 1 minute of test drive time. I'm not amused.

its important to resolve any airbag issue quickly- it could malfunction and open the bag while you are driving down the road. As to an existing problem the dealer did not correct--if the dealer does not want to do the stand up thing and stand behind their work and Nissan policy--make a call to NIssan and ask them to intervene-- it should get handled.
