Do you get paid for this? m4ck 05-28-2005, 01:05 PM Well the server costs close to 200 a month. luckily I am making enough to cover that and a little more for improvements and stuff like raffles helps. It was really hard to do it at first but with more sponsors coming on it is a lot easier now. The sites pay for themselves now and sometimes I manage to get something free for my Titan out of it. I like that part. LOL It all started for fun when Bixll, JetTech, and I over at TT were thinking of doing some kinda club stuff for the Titan owners. So with them as moderators I started CT and it took off. I then started getting requests for an Armada section or something so I figured why not give you guys your own place. When the new Frontiers came out I was like wow those are cool and figured why not. So we have 3 clubs up now and I have already purchased www.clubxterra.org but haven't had the time to mess with it. Maybe after the wife and I move I will start on it. I have always had fun with websites and things and I used to run a few game sites but just kinda stopped playing one day. How did you pick the moderators...do you ALL know each other and hang out...or you just know each other through the computer? What is your true occupation? I pick people that are involved and have good personalities. Its not something that you just give out to just anyone. I have met 2 of the moderators of ClubTitan though and they are pretty good friends of mine now. We call each other on the phone and talk sometimes we have had a couple get togethers and cookouts. Great people. For a living I work for a trucking company based in Indiana. I live in South Carolina and I'm the 3rd shift Operations Manager.
