Just wondering if anyone has purchased this HID set and what your experience has been.

Never heard of them...

I can second that...never heard of the brand. Also, their website is pretty unprofessional, with not very much information, IMO. Did you find a good deal on them somewhere?

I found a few websites selling them, presumably not the same seller. They include http://www.xenonexpert.com/apexcone.html, http://www.therpmstore.com/product_info.php?manufacturers_id=24&products_id=38. I've also seen it on a few forums also, including Mazda, BMW, and they've been reviewed pretty favorably. The main reason for considering them is the huge cost difference. Even with a lifetime warranty, it would still be $140 cheaper than Xetronics.

If they in fact do have a lifetime warranty, I'd go for it. As long as you've seen what the lights look like installed. I've seen some people put random brand kits in, and the lights are dull or an odd color. If there are good reviews, and a lifetime warranty, I dont see why not! :)

I decided to take the plunge. It was $155 shipped for the kit with the lifetime warranty. Besides price, other factors that made it easier to order these HID's were
1. They've been around for several years (both Xenonexpert and Apexcone).
2. Good reviews from folks on other forums, particularly a Subaru forum.
3. Apexcone HID's are available from several vendors so not really some obscure brand.

We'll see what happens when I get them and I'll post my review then.
