I've got an 04, purchased new, and only recenly have I begun to notice what I can only describe as "tinkerbell" like rattle coming from an undetermined location when driving on uneven or rough roads. Its becoming more and more apparent, and I cant discern where its coming from.
Has anyone had this problem, or know what Im talking about?

One of the exhuast skid plates come loose? Think it was Pops found a bolt missing from his, I am sure he will be along soon to give you advice.

The sound you are describing sounds like a loose bolt somewhere or a small wrench left somewhere! You will probably have to crawl underneath and inspect the exhaust system, and look under the hood.

I've crawled under there and cant find anything so far, but perhaps Im misrepresenting the exact noise. Its not so much a metallic tinker bell, but more like a squeaking tinker bell, high pitched but not like metal against metal. iTs very hard to describe accurately but annoying as hell!
Its gotten so bad that when Im on my cell phone people on the other end of the call can hear it.

I would be riding around and my wife kept saying she was hearing some squeeking. Really faint. When I opened the window and turned off the music, then I heard it.

Thought it was suspension, but the mechanic told me about the hood supports and we rode around and that's what he tightened up and I haven't heard anything from them since.
