I have had it back to the shop twice.I live 1.5 hrs from closest nissan dealer.The first time said it was coming from around DVD player,put felt tape on clips, went away for about to days.Went to another nissan dealer while on vacation,it stared driving me crazy,every rough bump, you hear a little squeak sound, it sounds like it is some where over head in storage compartment where dvd player is.They used anti squeak kit they called it. Drove about another 600 mile not one sound,then started doing again when hitting rough road.I have not been back yet, seems not to do it until weather warms up outside. I know it may be pickey but it drives me crazy,I dont feel like should live with that sound for new ride,love my armada all the same. Thanks

I know how you feel I have an '04 so I have had about every rattle imaginable but I fixed most of them myself. I would just be persistent and you have until 36,000 miles to get it fixed but I know it is very annoying especially on your new ride! Hope you get it fixed!

I had the annoying cricket chirp and found that I didn't fasten 2 of those little metal clips on the overhead good and that was causing it. I lightly fist hammered them until I heard them clip into place and it's gone now.

If you unbolt the 4-bolts and pull the overhead down starting from the rear, you'll see there's a hook it attaches to at the front. If you bend that hook up a little more so it's tighter, apply a little grease to all those fastener clips, then bolt it back up making sure all the clips get fastened tight, that should stop it.
