I just took my 2006 Armada to the dealer for the 30000 mile check and guess what. As usual they added something else to the regular service. They told me that I should change my differential fluid. They said it needed to be done every 30000 miles. I ask why wasn't that included in the 30000 mile check. They gave me some bull **** about the 30000 mile check was general for cars and because I had four wheel drive my truck was special. Well, I started not to get the fluid change, but I'm glad I did. When they pulled the fluid thay found a lot of metal in the fluid from the front differential. I haven't even put the truck in four wheel drive since I had it and I only driv e it on the weekends an to bike week. They started to say it was because of my wheels, but they couldn't because they are the same circumferance as the OEM wheels. So they are going to replace my front differential under warranty. It just makes me wonder what really happened.
