Hi guy's. I just picked up an 05 Pathfinder to go with the Armada and noticed some surface rust around the rear license plate area. This is where the chrome piece over the latch meets the body....looks like the corners of the chrome piece rubbed through the paint causing surface rust. Anyone else hear of this problem and what did you do? I will check with Nissan on fixing it but i doubt this is covered as most corrosion coverage is based on rust through, not surface. Thanks.

There's a TSB on that and it will require repainting that area.
