: Weezr's Armada
weezr17 05-31-2005, 05:39 PM Hey guys!
The moment you've all been waiting for (ha)! Nothing too fancy, just 18" chrome rims and E&G grille. So, I guess we're done........FOR NOW!
One problem though....have some vibration/shaking in the steering wheel with the aftermarket rims. Is this common and can this be dangerous?
What do you think of my Mada?
AZARMADA 05-31-2005, 07:34 PM Looks great :rrg:  , can not help much with the shaking other than check the balance.
llajumpvid 05-31-2005, 08:32 PM I like em', I'd put them on mine.
Rossi 05-31-2005, 08:39 PM You know...some chick over at CT was posting this same pic a few months back!! LoL
And you weren't in the pic WHY??? That's just wrong. So I see you finally got someone to put the wheels on. Did they use rings or go without them?
The Beast 05-31-2005, 10:12 PM A'ight girl,
you just do the dogone thang! Big ups!
*Translation - I like it, I like it. :ugogirl:

Rossi 06-01-2005, 11:02 AM Damnit...now I"m going to have to rent that cheeesy a$$ movie.... God..how am I going to explain to the wife that I want to watch meet the parents......
weezr17 06-01-2005, 11:20 AM Your just jealous because I got to clap in a movie..lol.
They filmed part of the movie in my town and some of the scenes were right across the street from some of the children in my class. A lot of the extras were from the area.
Anyway, I am in the wedding scene and if you look on the right side of the aisle behind the Mother in the movie (Blythe Danner) I'm in a gray suit and I stand up and CLAP! It was great, I got to meet DeNiro and Stiller. The scene I was in was very short....BUT it really took 5 hours to shoot and it was cold! They made it look like the beginning of fall (most of the leaves on the trees you see in the movie were fake, they were PUT ON!
Anyway, see you guys around!
SykoArmada 06-01-2005, 04:44 PM Oh, now I get it. She's been in a movie and too good for us to post a pic. I can see that happening, you know being from new york and all.
I kid, I kid :nana:

weezr17 06-02-2005, 08:42 PM I'm in the first one, MEET THE PARENTS.

Ok checked it out last night, still not sure who you were. There are three ladies in that seen with gray suits that stand up and clap.
were you
A. 3rd row 3rd seat from aisle... with short brown hair
B. 3rd row 4th seat from aisle... tall, with long brown hair
c. 4th row 1st seat from aisle... with medium brown hair
:crikey:
weezr17 06-04-2005, 02:35 PM OKAY....I'm RIGHT in the aisle, on the right side. Not sure if I was 4 rows behind the Mother in the movie. I have brown , curly shoulder length hair...maybe a little longer than shoulder length. I'm tall. I actually wave to the "NEWLYWEDS" coming down.
I guess it would be ANSWER "C" ...I think....I really can't remember.
kytitan 06-06-2005, 06:55 PM Yes, C is the only one on the aisle. Very cool CA has it's own movie star.
:2cool:
weezr17 06-06-2005, 08:54 PM LOL...ya found me! This is like "WHERE'S WALDO" well, really "WHERE'S WEEZR" :D
AtlantaAllen 06-08-2005, 12:21 PM I just went through a similar situation.
I got 18" chromed OEM wheels and when they put them on I got the steering wheel shake starting at around 70 mph. Drove me crazy. They couldn't get it to completely go away, though better, even after a road force balance.
I would try that first, it's different than a regular balance.
After the RF balance didn't get rid of it completely, I decided to bite the bullet for the cross terrain tires to see if that cured it. Now all's right with the world.
They're not cheap, they cost nearly twice what the Contis do, but the ride was worth it. What made me sick was just trashing the Contis, knowing I would never put them back on the Armada.
Good Luck
Allen
