Are the roof racks on the QX chrome for 08 and if they are will they fit the Armada? Seems it would be an easy answer for me to find out but I must not be looking in the right places.

Yes they are Chrome and they will fit the Armada.

Is that an easy mod and where would I find one. I was looking and it appears that there are no outside fasteners for the rack which would make me think I have to take the roof liner out on the inside but I dont know. Has any one put the chrome racks on their Armada?

I looked into this but at the end of the day my wife and i decided we liked the look of the silver rack on the Armada. Would love to see photos if someone does do this mod.

Thanks BlakSpyda, I couldn't find it any where but didn't know where to look. Seems it would be about $1000 mod so I may have to wait a little while. Maybe I can find one salvage somewhere. I do think it would look good though.
