Not to be a downer, but $103.00 to fill mine today. I think I have to visit the doctor because my a** hurts after going to the gas station!

I find I spend most of my ride to work (38 miles each way) checking gas prices, then on the way home or the next morning go to the cheapest place. Thursdays the Shell station in my neighborhood does a 5 cents off thing and the lines were backed up for a 1/2 mile, good news was only? $3.82. I can't wait so the contest took me across the street for $3.88 and $94. later (had to pump twice, $75 max) I was filled. Rode my bike to work today, if I ride it 3 days I can save almost $75.:damn:

Just filled up last night for $77.00. I went ahead and aired my tires back up to the max 50-psi they are rated for to see if it makes any MPG difference. I'm hoping the Hydrogen Kit being put together over on ClubTitan turns out to be successful. :D

$103.00, that is nothing, $109.52, and the thing is, on the little computer thing, it still says 378 miles to empty, I have never seen that thing go above 380. I am going to the proctologist on a weekly basis now due to the gas prices.

What kind of gas prices are people paying that they are over $100 to fill up?! Do the new 'Madas have bigger tanks...

That's just nuts!! I usually fill 'er up at less than a 1/4 tank and the max I've ever paid is upwards of $70-something... and I live in the Bay Area (CA), where the gas prices are uber-expensive, at least from my point of view!!

Too bad the 'Mada won't run on old bananas and styrofoam cups like Doc's Delorean did in B2TF!!

Gas prices = BOHICA

Mine always says 378 to empty when the tank is full, no matter what the current average mileage is. Same if I'm towing the trailer (9-10 mpg), around town (11-12 mpg), or on a long highway trip (16-17 mpg). I think the computer just assumes the same when the tank is full.

Oh, and about $4.50 for regular here in SoCal. $4.80+ for premium (what goes in the Maxima and the GS).

We all have the 28 gallon gas tank. It's just a matter of when we decide to fill up. Gas on base in $4.25 right now. So like Pops said, to get a $100 charge, I'd have used 23.5 gallons (still leaving 4.5 gallons of reserve in the tank.

and, word has it that the pumps aren't calibrated properly, with gas prices constantly on the rise there is no way to check if you're accually getting as much as you're paying for?!?:duh:

Sorry for telling you guys but it only costs me 22 USD to fill up from empty. One of the perks of living in the Middle East. Mind you, I must still pay for my two sons back home at university. They only have tiny 1400cc engines in their VW golfs but it costs 50 USD to fill their tanks. Cost per mile is probably the same.

Whoa...I haven't checked in for a while but it looks like everyone is in the same boat as me.

First: I never get 300 miles out of my tank anymore.

Second: Gas the cheapest it's been here in Chicago for quite some time and it's still $4.25 per gallon.

Third: My Mom, who lives on a boat in South America, just filled up her 200 gallon tank of diesle for $13.

I feel like I'm in the TwiLight Zone!

paid $4.79 yesterday for premium in my bike. in 8 years of owning motorcycles this was the first time i've ever spent more than $20 on a single fill up. downright depressing when a bike that averages 45mpg doesnt seem that economical. i'd like to get an enduro cause they run on 87 and get like 60mpg. we'll see. as for the mada, well, unlike a lot of people here, i cant afford to fill the tank in one shot!!!!

I do the same, I put in gas at the 1/4 tank to make myself feel better. For the first time in my life I actually plan short trips around town to finish up all errands. I remember being in high school and pumping in 10 bucks and I could drive all week long. That was just back in 92-94

As much as it takes, can't tow a trailer with 6 dirt bikes/gear and carry 6 people in a Prius.

Its still cheaper than water here in Saudi, 91 octane $12 to fill from completely empty, 95 octane $16 from completely empty.

When I got the Armada I contemplated taking back to England with me, glad I didn't bother as it would cost around $250 to fill from empty.
