Telling my Armada Family to have an Enjoyable and Safe July 4th....:D

I slept in a little and then spent the last 5 hours working with my oldest son on his truck, taking a break now. He rolled his '85 Toyota truck a month or so ago wheeling. We got a spare (new to us) drivers side door to fit and the front fender/hood/headlight corner areas somewhat straight again. It is amazing what you can do with hi-lift jack, a come-along and some big hammers. Passenger side tomorrow and maybe the windshield area. Next I get to be house boy with the vacuum cleaner since my wife just had knee surgery on Tues and THEN my younger son and I will shell & de-vein a couple big bags of shrimp and THEN I have to take my oldest son to work (no truck, remember) at In & Out burger and THEN come home and cook shrimp scampi & other stuff and THEN eat a ton of shrimp and clean-up the kitchen and THEN go pick-up my son from work and THEN drink all the cold beer I can find!

Dang!!! So much for a day off. I thought I had it bad; mowed the lawn this morning (2 hours+), washed the cars (2 hours), pruned my tomato plants (1hour) finally said that's it - time for a nice cool shower relax a bit, have a (several) cool one and then start firing up the grill. That shrimp scampi sound mighty fine though. Cheers you all. No fireworks :mad: it's finally raining, sure do need the rain.:)

Recovered from night out with Dad and God-dad drinking... BBQ'd (as you can tell from previous posts), cleaned up the grilles, then grouted ceramic floors. Wife asked if I was tired.... HA! Duh!

And it is my 28th birthday
