Does anyone know what types of brakes nissan uses from factory. Is there a nissan brand brake pad, or are they manufactured from another company and nissan buys them? I need some brake pads and i am just trying to see if i can find a little cheaper price from what the dealer is trying to sell them to me for. or if there is a break pad that is reccommended by you guys?

I know both front and both rear corner modules are manufactured by Bosch, but I can't guarantee that they don't get their brake pads for them from some other manufacturer.

FWIW, I had my "Brake Fix" done at 8k miles and they only changed pads on the rear in compliance with the TSB. I rotated my tires a few weeks ago at over 43k miles now (35k miles on the pads) and they still look hardly worn. I'll be sticking with these for the next time around too. If they're Bosch, the name might be stamped onto the metal side of the pad, they were labeled on my previous Mercedes. Personally, I've always loved Bosch brakes.
