I've seen magazine times for my truck and things just dont add up. I'm laying down an *** whopping to cars and trucks that should be marginally slower, dead even, or faster than my Q. My kill list goes, Suburban 8.1, Suburban 6.0, Mustang 5.0 (modded), Tundra 5.7 DC SB, 2003 Camry XLE, Gmc Yukon Denali, Ford F150, and a Durango 4.7. I knowmost of the cars on that list are pretty BS but im beating them by 5+ car lengths. Some of these cars i just couldn't believe i beat em'. Before you guys go calling this off and telling me these cars weren't "trying", yes they were in fact at WOT the people i race are my friends and they own the various vehicles on that list. the closest race i've ever had was against a Tundra. I whooped him by a few cars on a dig but thats because he let up after 20. On a 40 roll with him getting the jump i took him by a fender and was STILL pulling. Just tonight i raced my friend with his 4.7 durango. i gave him 1 car length headstart and still had him by 4 1/2 legnths at 60. I also roughly estimated my 0-60 to be around a low to mid 6 seconds. i mean this car is supposed to pull a mid 7 seconds to 60 and mine is pulling a sub 6. I just dont believe it! Is anyone else experiencing this or is mine actually a true factory freak?

forgot to mention that i took off all my mods besides my coolant bypass. So im BONE stock

I have a qx56 and they are pretty quick, but for me to beat a 5.0 and modded thats insane , a modded 5.0 will do 13's in the 1/4 very easy! Who ever drives that 5.0 needs to learn how to drive! Even more so if you are stock, i have CAI , CAT back, advanced timing , on my qx56 and i can never touch a 5.0. Have you ever taken your truck to the track to see what you get in the 1/4?

as far as the other trucks go.. the qx56 ecu is way more advanced than the others.... and the nissan/infiniti engines are better engineered.

NO kidding. I smoke my Chiefs Explorer, and he has the Police Interceptor Package, on a regular basis. My Mada has 75k miles on it and the only mod is an aftermarket sirius sat radio.

Mine has 75K also, but I did get the 2° Timing Advance. My only performance Mod. I know when I smoke folks on the road they are saying "WTF!?!?!?!"

im debating about the +2 mod. still undecided. It felt good to pay $3.13 for regular.

the mustang is a late 80's model and it has some nice rims and exhaust. I dont believe it has any mods under the hood. This car is just so deceiving. People will always laugh at me when i taunt them at lights. their expression is totally different when they see how this thing launches and hear the exhaust note. When i break it loose i spin for at least 15 feet and starts to kick out sideways. I just can't believe it.

If you really want an answer to your question (but if you just want to make a kill list thats cool too :p ) go to a dynamometer. For about $30-$50 you can get whats called a "baseline" run which tells you the hp and torque made at the wheels.

Then go online and get averages that other Qx's are dynoing, and that will tell you if its all in your perception, or you are actually making more than most.

I can tell you I'm satisfied by my QX, but definitely not impressed. My Titan LE was a fair amount quicker, however I would expect it to be since its much lighter. I'm also used to sports cars so the QX quite frankly scares me when it gos fast. These things do not handle nor stop as well as they accelerate!

FYI the new Z06 C6 is faster than most lambos.....The only way an SUV would take him is if he put it in reverse on mistake lol

To be honest he definitely didn't know you were racing. The new Z06 is an absolute monster...unless of course he happens to be racing a ford fiesta in a mall. I love Top Gear...not sure if its a Z06, but still an awesome vid.
