I purchased a used 04 Mada from a non-Nissan dealer. I called the good folks at Nissan to see if it has an extended warranty, and it’s doesn’t. I was told I could still purchase one through a dealer. Does anyone know how much they are “aftermarket”. I know it would have been a lot easier to haggle with them when I was buying the Beast but since I bought it used I don’t have any leverage.

You might be surprized how much the dealer will work with you on the "right" warranty. This is their chance to "sell" you on their service department. If you chose to bring your Mada back there, they are going to make money off of you, whether it is coming from Nissan, a 3rd party, somebody is gonna pay. Just like buying a car/truck, I would say consider walking out, mentioning the name of some other Nissan dealer, and how you are buying an extended warranty "before you head hits the pillow tonight". Even if they only knock off another $50, hey, that's a tank of gas (almost), hehe. Good luck!
