does anyone know if the 08 headlights will fit in the 04-07?

I may be wrong, don't think they are any different as far as size is concerned, just in configuration.

i own a tint shop and am trying differrent headlight and taillight tints instead of painting i was wanting a little different look without going aftermarket, so i thought if i could get some 08's and tint them like i did these it would be a different look what do yall think of this so far, i took off front rack, medium tint on front lights, black on back and cut out for the reverse lights(so i can see with the camera) 2% tint all around, and 20% on windshield

actually i have that on every car i have including my mustang which i race on the weekends i can see just fine, hids help alot but it really not that bad

I think it looks great, but does the tint on the headlights dminish the effectiveness?

Dark tint is fine and you do get used to it!

the film i use is rated at only blocking 5-9% thats where the hid comes in i think it puts it back at factory if not better

I am not sure, but I can tell you there is a major price difference. I had a recall on the condenser fan, which mine was fine being an 2004 Armada. But I am looking to buy here soon a set of headlight units for back up to the hid's I will be installing and halo's. So I was pricing OEM headight units at the dealership and the newer Armada's have the xenon so he said for both is $965.00 whereas the non-xenon which I have is $365.00. I think eBay will be the way for me or check out a junk yard.

You'll need to change the front bumper and grille to the 08 version too!
