I want to paint my wheels black. like a gloss black kind of color. whats the best way to go about doing this?

Why ruin those chrome rims? :confused:I am sure someone will like to trade you and its a lot of work painting on chrome to hold paint will just chip back off...

Hold on to those chrome ones. Believe me, it is hard work painting chrome. You have to sand them down, then lay the primer, and then paint them.
What I think you are going for is the black chrome look, which is expensive to do. If you get your hands on some stock rims, then painting them is no problem.

Yea i would trade but my rims are scratched to hell. No, im not looking for the black chrome look. To me it looks more grayish. im just looking for the gloss black, powdercoated look.

paint chips pretty easy off of wheels, you might try getting them powder coated, that way they srtip all the chrome off and electro-plate the color on.
