I came to reading a book, which I am not much of a book reader but a very good one to try is called The Driver. It is about a year old now and is the true story of Alex Roy and his hunt to break the transcontinental time record. That time being 32 hours 7 minutes, which starts in New York City, and goes to a pier in California. For those of you that know about the Gumball 3000, or any other rally Alex comes from that area. But what really struck me was a story in the book who did one lap of Paris in 7 minutes. I included the video which was taken in the late 70's or early 80's on the front bumper but don't quote me on the time frame. It is my understanding that the car is a Mercedes and NOT a Ferrari which it sounds very close to. Before I get the hate on how dangerous this is, I understand these people are doing illegel things, but in Alex's case the work and determination has to be respected, and the other film I have included is just absolute skill when it comes to driving on city streets. Enjoy:D
