I am going to be replacing the brake pads on the rear of my mada.

The rotors arent warped from what i can tell by driving and braking. I am going to get some ceramics from AutoZone. I used them up front and they worked good.

So my question is do you turn your rotors everytime you put new pads on? If you dont turn the rotors do you do anything to the rotors before putting on the new pads?

if you arent getting any vibration from the pedal, i woldnt turn the rotors. the more metal you remove from the rotor the less heat it can stand, and the quicker it will warp. i would just slap the pads in. the only downside from this is if the rotor is whats called glazed over it can cause a squealing noise. it is very rare for rear rotors to get glazed to that point, so i'd just run em the way hey are.

Do you see any need to maybe run some 120 grit sand paper over the rotors to take some glaze off?

Would that even work???
