this is what happens when you lock the safetys on the lift to "save time". we had this happen at our store. you have to have the lift on the ground for the arms to move in or out, or you can pry the safety up, lock it up with something, and you can move em wherever. problem is if the car moves, the arms go flying out from under the car. cant believe anyone would be that stupid with a $200k car. we dropped a f250 from about 3 feet. didnt hurt anything but the moron who was doing it got fired. anyways, that sucks!!

I'll give you one more of when mechanics go bad, this is a Carrera GT, which was only in the shop to have a scratch buffed out, wonder what the owner thought when he came back to the dealership and saw this:
