weezr17 06-29-2005, 09:37 AM That's the one I have Kevin....it is pretty sweet looking BUT sometimes I think I have TOO MUCH chrome on the front. I go back and forth.
Do you have the LE grille? If you don't I would LOVE to see how it (E&G grille) looks with the painted top stock grille.
ockevin 06-29-2005, 09:18 PM Here is the pic of the painted grille and the E & G polished .

Vegeta 07-01-2005, 04:55 PM Where can I buy a E&G grille?Here bro . www.asdrestylers.com
ockevin 07-01-2005, 08:57 PM I got my grille on ebay .....The link above is the same price. Sounds good.
ockevin 07-19-2005, 02:56 AM Thanks for all the nice words.
I just put the K & N drop in air filter and got the extra headphones.
Now I just need the DVD remote. Anyone know where to get one cheaply ?
NYCARMADA 07-21-2005, 12:37 PM Here is the pic of the painted grille and the E & G polished .
I think the grille looks awesome. I think it would also look great on my 2005 Smoke LE. Did you install the grille yourself? and if so was it tough to do? I think I'm pretty handy but i don't want to bite off more than I can chew. Do you have to take off the bumper ans stuff like that? please let me know.
Thanks in advance,
NYCARMDA
ockevin 07-21-2005, 01:06 PM nyc,
The grille was not hard. It took me about and hour and a half to complete the upper and lower. You do have to remove the grille shell, but its real easy you just need a long screwdriver to pop out the pins. The E & G bolts right over your factory grille and is very secure from the back. Good luck.
ockevin 07-28-2005, 02:42 PM Still looking for the stock rear DVD system remote control . Anyone know where to get it cheaply ?
THanks.
lolmdk 07-31-2005, 06:31 PM Do u have any problems w/ the 24's as far as rubbing in the well. I have 22's and they fill the wells out nicely, but could be a bit bigger to finish the look off.
Has your K&N kit resulted in a noticible improvement in gas mileage, and power?
Have you had the new break fix or did your Armadxa come w/ the new set up.?
As for the remote control, I have no idea where to go for that. Thanks in advance.
belch
ockevin 08-01-2005, 01:04 AM belch,
I have no rubbing problems with the 24's. I did get the front mudflaps last week and they needed to be cut 2" on the inside part of the mudflap to avoid rubbing, but without the front mudflaps, no rubbing at all.
I had the rims on my Yukon, but I traded it in for my Armada and love it.
I have not noticed any improvements yet with the intake. I does have a little better sound. I have only been through one tank of gas so far with the K & N installed
Here is a pic of my Yukon on the 24's and lowered 3".

ockevin 08-01-2005, 01:17 AM I forgot to answer your other question.
I just got the brake fix last week. I did not have the judder, but I did have the super excessive brake dust and poor stopping distance, so the dealer suggested I get the new brakes and they did it for me for free under warranty. They also told me they had the brake fix in stock and took care of it for me(new front rotors, calipers, and assembly parts, and turned the rear rotors and all with new pads), including a rental for a day.
paramedico 08-01-2005, 02:51 AM Kevin,
Noticed you have an OFF-ROAD, still have the wheels and tires? I would be interested in taking them off your hands.
ockevin 08-01-2005, 12:02 PM Here is my old Expediton that I used to go off roading....

armagdn 01-08-2006, 03:26 AM i was wonder if your tire preasure sensors go off... do you have the sensors on your stocks or on your aftermarket wheels.
thanks
your truck is looking good :D
ockevin 01-08-2006, 03:20 PM I only have the pressure sensors on the stock wheels. My aftermarket wheels do not have the sensors. I get a light if I go on a long trip, like to BIg Bear Mountain. Basically any drive over an hour it lights up , but it goes away in about 10 more minutes.
Armggn,
DO you have any more pics of the system you have. I checked on cardomain as well, update that one with your new pics. You are on top.
armagdn 01-08-2006, 08:39 PM ic

ockevin 01-25-2007, 11:27 PM The Mada and everything that is on the SUV is for sale....
$26,000 Firm.
hullio 01-26-2007, 03:41 PM Hey goodluck man. If you don't mind me asking, why are you selling it?
BRE Armada 01-26-2007, 03:50 PM I do have the sensors in my aftermarket wheels and they work great. They can be moved to an aftermarket wheel with little effort.
ockevin 01-27-2007, 07:29 PM I am selling it to lower my payments on the wifes car and hopefully save up for a new 08 in a few months.
hullio 01-28-2007, 02:03 PM I am selling it to lower my payments on the wifes car and hopefully save up for a new 08 in a few months.
Nice. Once again goodluck and I'm sure you won't have that much of a problem selling it as you have one pimp Armada ;).
DocHarley 01-29-2007, 10:36 AM A friend was interested but just bough a brand new one. I'll keep asking around for ya. BTW you say 2008, do you mean Armada 2008?
