Hey guys,

I have the stock DVD sytem in my 04 Armada. I have an aftermarket tv tuner I would like to install. Can this work ? How will I control it ?

What about headrests tv's ? Can these work with the stock system? How will it be hooked up?

You could probably just plug it into the AUX of the DVD. The tuner would be like a set top cable box with it's own remote. If you add more screens you will suck some power from the factory one and it will be a little darker. do a search for headrest+screen. There are several members who have done this and commented on the quality of the video.

FYI... The analog tuners will no longer work in a year or two when the start converting to digital. I looked into the Direct TV Option and the per month is great if you have service in home already (an extra $3/ month) however, the equipment is still prohibitive (+HUGE!) Has anyone out there found a Mobile Sat TV option?

The old tuners will still work only you will have to buy a converter which won't be very expensive.
