Any of you paint your engine covers...I just did mine Royal Blue! Here's before and after pics.

What kind of paint did you use? It looks good. Did you take the letters off and restick them on?

The letters are painted on so I took some masking tape and a razor and covered them up. I used Dupi-Color Royal Blue paint...put on about three coats...let it dry over night then put about three coats of clear coat on it. I peeled the tape off the letters before I put the clear coat on. The nissan emblem is fairly hard to get off....I was taking real care not to damage it. I like it...really improved the look of the engine I think.


Oh and I also sanded the entire thing with 1000 grit paper to make sure the paint would stick good.

guess I will painting mine now, I think I will get it done to match the galaxy exterior, hmm.
