: Bully Pop 2* Timing Question !
TPAKTOP 02-13-2009, 12:50 PM Just got a brand new downloader for $300, installed , downloaded the settings into a vehicle etc. Now , the feature 2 degree timing :
1. Do I need to adjust +2 or -2, or +1 , or -1 ? How do i know which way to go ?
2. What about attaching the idle ? Do I have to adjust as well and what benefits will I have if I increase rpm by 100 for example ?
3. What's "pinging" ?
4. Since its not disabled (2 degree feature ) on any car , can I actually use my Bully Pop to adjust 2 degrees on my 2nd armada ? Or I cannot while my Tuner "married" to my 1st armada ?
Sorry fellas, Im Russian and English isnt my native language. I still try to guess what some words mean. Pinging is one of them lol
Please help me out with ur answers !
Thank u !
P.S. Oh yea, do I have to DISABLE or ENABLE "WOT" ?
TPAKTOP 02-13-2009, 12:59 PM Oh yea, its a bit off topic , but I always wanted to ask what "Shift Lurker" means anyway?
Can u tell the dude " Stop lurking my shift , man !" ?
Can u tell a girl " Hey sexy, do u wanna lurk my shifter ? :) "
I know shift means like shifting the gears, right ?
Fellas , Im not kidding ! This is the honest thread and legit questions I swear !

Shift lurker I believe is 25 post and bellow. Then it goes to Shift Newbie at 50 then to Shift enthusiast at 100 posts then Shift Hardcore at 200. Shift is what Nissan uses in there commercials. Its like a trademark They do like Shift_Drive. or other things at the end of it.
marctronixx 02-13-2009, 05:00 PM if you want the benefits of the 2 degree advance, set it to +2.
idle air id just leave it be
you can change the 2 degree on any vehicle. the TUNE feature is only for ONE engine only. if you wanted to TUNE another engine, youd have to unmarry the current engine.
suddenurge 02-13-2009, 05:10 PM You can adjust the timing +-2 on most late model Nissan vehicles, as many as you want, only the tune is married to one specific vehicle. Use the arrow keys to add or subtract timing, press Y and it will say it's set. It's been a while since I had mine hooked up, so I'm working off memory. If your Armada is idling fine, there's no reason to adjust it. Do a Google search on pinging, spark knock, preignition and you will find alot of reading. I data logged the regular tune and premium tune timing, and IMO, you don't need to add any extra timing since both tunes run up to 33-34 degrees at WOT.
BlakSpyda 02-13-2009, 07:39 PM Used to be lurker (1-49), newbie (50-249), enthusiast (250-999), Hardcore (1000+), but I think Rumplecat has the new ranking system.
