I decided to go with 22's, since I am not that "Bling".

Looks nice. I always thought, as most of my friends and family also concur, that anything bigger than 22s looked cheesy(insert non-pc racial slur here). My buddie in Tampa says he just ran into a freak in Tampa with 28" rims and rubber bands for tires. Guess it proves he can spend a lot of money for no reason. If that's the message he wants to send, go for it. I'd rather have a second Jetski for the extra he spent over me. Glad to see most Armada/Titan owners leave that stuff for the poser Escalade pimps. Good job!

Nano,

Tell us about tire choice, tire size, and any ride changes that you have noticed. Any changes on the Butt-meter on the bumpy stuff. Who make these wheels, and are they only available in chrome? I'm on the fence 20" vs. 22", and I need you to push me over to 22"!

I viewed a whole lot of pictures before deciding on 22's. The smaller wheels looked almost like the originals - 20" are only 2" bigger. I didn't go any bigger because I don't like the tires too low-profile (on a truck). I am also planning on towing a small recreational vehicle in the future, so I thought bigger tires will hold up better. If you go with 20's you will just want to go bigger later.

The tires are Falken P305/45R22. I like the size, but the design on the sides don't look as good as I thought. I like the side profile of the tires to look smooth - the "Falken" lettering is pretty rough and big.

Overall, I like them.

The tires are P305/45R22 and the wheels are EAGLE 026. I am not sure if they make them in other finishes. I wanted to match the chrome already on the car, so I went with chrome wheels.

Ride changes: It is a rougher ride. I have taken it back 3 times because I think they need balancing, but maybe it is just the rough road. If you don't like to feel rough roads, maybe you should think twice before going for a smaller (profile) tire and bigger rims. I debated over just chroming the originals, but I knew I wasn't going to be satisfied.

Other mods: I am in the frustrating process of adding 7" LCD to each headrest and 2 DVD players (one for each row of seats) along with a game port for the 3rd row. I am having video problems, so I can't say I am happy with it YET.

Did you add the monitors in yourself? If so, just curious on running wires down through the seat back, and how you do it.

These look interesting, wireless, but they would still need a power feed...

BTW, the wheels look great, they look good with Galaxy! I like the 026s also, but would probably go with a 20" for the same reasons as 3-blk as I will undoubtably see some off pavement activity.

I'm in TX righ now so I don't have a way to post any Pics but i have an 04 SE with 20's. I was able to get them from the dealer as part of the deal. They came with Spinners but got rid of them later on. I will go up to 22 for sure MAYBE 24's only after I hear from someone about the ride change. I'm at FT Hood Visiting and If I'm able to get some pics taken I will.

I am having them put in. Now I am thinking, "I should have done it myself."

I must say you have awesome taste :awesome: . Reminds of of mine :D . I have the same wheels, same size. I went with the nitto tires cause the side walls where pretty smoooth and didnt have a lot of bulk to em. Plus I like the tread design. As far as my headrest. i did em myself. I was nervous but what I did was go to a local pick and pull/junkyard a bought a few headrest. I practiced on those till I was ready. It took me the second shot to go for it. what helped me is that i purchased some OEM headrest from the 2004 madas cause they fit the 7" monitors better, plus they arent sloped up like my 05 HR. It made it much easier to install since it left me more room to work with. I have the rca plugs for my kids PS@ and the dc converter and wireless headsets. A must when on long trips. I need to put a flip down for the back seat riders or maybe a couple more in the HR for the back seaters. I also need to the the navigation housing mod and add a 7" up front as well. Makes it much easier to navigate thru the menus once a movie is finished. Although I must say my 6 year old has done a great job in telling which buttons to push so I dont have to stop and look at the monitors

Nano,
I've got the same wheels, but with Nitto 305/45.
How do you like the feel of the ride?
