Just bought my first armada, and don't know why I didnt' earlier. just about went with a lincoln navigator and glad I didn't. Question is there any pics of a burgandy colored armada with the baccarat phang wheels, or can anybody photo shop these wheels onto this unit in a 22 or 24" size wheel. also, is there any modifications for a 24" wheel, and what size of rubber can you safely fit under there?? will I regret getting 24" wheels(my wifes car) and I'm a little nervous about her pulling onto a curb and dinging the rim up. sorry for all the q's, appreciate the answers. ryan

I loaded a pic off the add of the unit I bought and the wheel.

24's fit good. 26's get a little rough riding from my understanding but the people with 22's and 24's seem to be happy. FWIW, Those wheels will look good. Black/Silver like that looks really great on Red Brawn.

Welcome to Club Armada! Great looking wheels on that red ride!! I think the wife would like the 22's better, more rubber to hit that curb and a little softer ride.

I'm kind of thinking that too. but my pride is getting the better of me. a guy in town has one with 22's, and I gotta make ma whip look better then his.lol here's a pic of my truck with 22's.

No luck with red brawn. The only Armada I've seen with phangs on it is a member of this forum, but it's a silver Armada.
Looks sharp though.

I think those tires might be too small for the Armada. You'll probably want close to a 32"-33" diameter to tuck up into the fenderwell nicely and about a 10"-12" width to fill out.

I can't remember, I copied them into my computer when I saw them because I liked the look of them.

Try browsing through the gallery. There's alot to go through but you might get lucky.

i would stick with 22s with a 304/45-22. that will give you plenty of rubber to keep the ride soft, protect the wheel from curbs and such, and fill out the wheel well like pops mentioned. i had 22s on mine and it was about as stiff as i could handle. some guys are just fine with the ride, i personaly didnt like it. i think 24s would be even worse. you'll also save quite a bit of money by going 22s.

and your truck is sick, but get some big meats on those wheels dude!!!

gmc sucked the big one when they redesigned these trucks. believe it or not, that's as big as I can go for rubber without getting into a 6 or 8" lift. they are 33", and I had to put a leveling kit on it to make them fit. kind of a bummer.

I am leaning towards the 22's. just gotta pull the trigger now.lol
