Thanks for your responses to my question regarding changing the center bench seat to captains chairs. That made me realize it is best that I keep searching.

Another question I have is watching the factory DVD on the navigation screen while the Armada is in motion.

I will have 2008 LE or newer with factory NAV and DVD whenever I finally get my Armada. I have seen several threads on the forum discussing this, but, I don't recall seeing a post where anyone has been successful yet in achieving this ability. Can it be done?

works perfect. several of us on the forum have this mod done. Shane, a member on the forum, figured it out and even makes a harness you can buy from him that has all you need to set it up. super simple install... a caveman can do it. if you are good with electrical and 12 V systems, then you dont need his kit and can get the parts and do it yourself...

Thanks Marc. That is great news. :D My wife has been spoiled with the hack I did to our Lexus GX470 NAV screen which allows her to not only watch DVD's up front while traveling, but, also to have full touch screen control over the DVD player functions.

Does the Armada hack also allow touch-screen control of the DVD player functions?
