i recently spent all day with a friend installing an amp and sub in my 05 armada le. We ran into some issues. We had to have cartoys install the line out converter and the remote line. They said they hooked it directly onto the amp that is just above the gas pedal. My issue is...everything else is now hooked up right and i am getting nothing. I have narrowed it down to a problem with the wiring on the line out converter. Does anyone have a diagram on how to wire that converter to that amp?
I want to try to do this myself instead of having to pay them a lot of money to "troubleshoot" what is wrong at $45 an hour.
here is my checklist of working elements:
power is getting to the amp (light comes on)
remote is working
speaker (sub) is good and hooked up
amp is new
rca cables are hooked up right (and they are brand new)
ground wire is...grounded
thanks
