I just got it 3-4 weeks ago so the only thing I've done to it is debadge it and some limo tint ( no cash left after down payment) LOL. I'll post some pics once I get my rims, rear spoiler and grille. What did you use to take off the emblems? I am interested in doing it.I used fishing line like a post here said and then Goo-Gone to remove the adhesive. Its easy ! Just take your time . Do a search here on debadging and you'll find the info there on how exactly to do it . Good luck bro !

About a year ago, I shaved off my beard that I had had for the past 15 years. My 9 year old had never seen me without a beard. He didn't notice for three days! I took off the Pathfinder logo on the back of the Armada, he noticed it was missing the first time he went into the garage! Go figure!

I was thinking of removing the badges from the rear also on my new Mada, but I really like the V8 on the side. I have had several friends make a comment on the V8 and suggesting that it looks good with the V8 on the side. These are firends all driving either Suburbans or Expeditions, but secretly envying my Mada.

If I had an '04, I'd get rid of the PATHFINDER also. Its an Armada. :teeth:

It is attached with double sticky tape. I took mine off.

There's a couple threads on how to take the pathfinder badge off. Dental floss and ??
What I did was wait for a hot day, then around 2pm I simply stuck a few layers of masking tape around the badge, then used a credit card and a screwdriver. I stuck the credit card next the the badge, used the screwdriver and carefully pry'd off the badge, little by little. Then when I could get my fingers underneath it, I just pulled it off.

Then I used a little cleaning wax and buffed out the area. Can't tell at all there was anything there.

I stuck the badge on my toolbox. Looks better on the toolbox.

No holes on the Pathfinder, ARMADA, or LE/SE emblems, only sticky stuff. The Nissan "hamburger" uses holes. Take it slow and easy, and they come off fine, with no damage. Leave it in the sun for a while before you work, and you'll have an easier time.

I just purchased a Pathfinder for my wife even though they were selling the Armada for much less which I think is a bit rude and I tried to remove the NISSAN circle emblem on the back and it HAS HOLES at 4.25'' apart. I cannot imagine much difference between the two. I am having a custom chrome plated heart with her signature embossed to replace the embem. The SE & NISSAN letters came off with a blowdryer and laquer thinner. Ebay has grilles for under $50.00 too.

Right now - I have removed the Pathfinder emblem and I want to relocate the Armada Emblem - Before I do it - I was wondering - is the emblem composed of all single letters or are the letters connected somehow?

By the way - the pathfinder emblem was super easy to remove - I didnt need the goo gone and it only took a few seconds!!!! Hopefully the same - with the Armada Emblem!!

legit...

As I'm sure you know - the 'Pathfinder' emblem is all one piece (I have an '05, so I'm guessing - but pretty sure). The 'Armada' emblem is made up of all single letters. Each one will come off individually.

I was so excited with the finished product when I debadged mine a few months back, I debadged every logo on every piece of machinery I could find around my house!! I just wish that stupid hamburger didn't have the two holes behind it, because that would go too!!

Personally, I think my 'Mada looks a million times better with no badges!!

Good luck!

Probably a ruler and a carpenter pencil(not the sharp one but rounded tip) just barely run a line with pencil can be wipe off when finish...

Sorry insufficient data. That is her signature and a chromed heart on it. Same spec's as OEM.

I have to agree...it surewould have been nice to not have the Guide-Holes in the rear, to cleanly remove the emblem. Although, I have given consideration to taking the existing off, painting it, a color match to my LE, and replacing it that way....was too much to have the holes filled, especially with the Back-Up Camera in the hatch....
