: Giovanna DBL G 22's with Kuhmo Ecsta's
LethalSlizz 07-02-2005, 04:51 PM Just put them on yesterday. This is my first set of rims and I was real worried about how they would look on the Truck, but I'm very happy with them. The truck still needs to be lowered a good 3.5 to 4 Inches though for the full effect. Let me know what you think. Thanks, Jared

Vegeta 07-02-2005, 07:47 PM Good looking wheels ! They don't look like a big cookie cutter like alot of the new wheels out there !

I agree. There's a lot of 24-26" wheels that look like chrome pie plates that had holes punched in them with a juice opener. Those are nice. Don't lower it and spoil the look, which is nice! JMO. ;)
NISMO 07-03-2005, 01:45 AM i personnaly like it... r u planning to put some grilles? :)

I think I'm going E&G. I also like the Weston Bull Bar with it but it just isn't practical. I want a winch and you can't winch with that. Maybe I'll wait for a Road Armor one or equivalent. ;)
weezr17 07-03-2005, 11:46 AM LOOKIN SHARP LETHAL....KEEP IT UP! Can't wait to see which grille you choose.
Tripleblack.....thanks for the compliment!
LethalSlizz 07-03-2005, 12:21 PM Thanks for all the compliments! I'm liking the wheels more and more everyday. After looking around I don't think I'm going to be adding a grill at this time. There is really nothing that I like that much so I'll just do without for now. I am intested in going the blower route though and have been looking around for one. Seems like I'm very limited in that area also. I'll keep looking and let you know what I find. Jared
Vegeta 07-03-2005, 12:29 PM How much $ did they run ya LethalSlizz ?

Well, I'm a wholesaler of aftermarket performance parts so I bought them from one of my wheel distibutors at cost. I have seen them advertised for the $2700-2900 range with tires which is pretty good. I definately got a good deal though.. :D

Yeah thats around the price I seen them for on the web .
I'm looking at getting the same wheels and tires. Are you running 305/45/22's? Any problems with rubbing?
Armada Brotha 08-23-2005, 02:15 PM yeah man that looks good right there, don't lower it at all.
dmarmada04le 08-23-2005, 03:45 PM I have to say those wheels are awesome, by far the nicest I have seen on a Mada yet. I would buy them in a second if I didn't use my Mada for a company car (can't stand out too much when I go to visit clients). Good luck with them. Re: lowering, I wouldn't lower it at all, it looks great as is. :goodjob:
TooTall 08-23-2005, 05:17 PM What is the offset of the rims? Any rubbing issues? Do they fit the TPMS?
NorCalJay 08-23-2005, 05:27 PM I got the Kuhmo Ecsta's too - lookswise it's a cool tire for the Armada - the cross tread matches the runningboard pattern. Uh, sorry, I notice those things.
I also have have them on another car & waiting to test hydroplaning in wet weather.

Those wheels look great, I just got a smoke05 QX56 and I want to get the same rims I was wondering what size & brand those tires are?
Also did these larger wheels affect your gas milage?
Do you think these same rims would be better in 20" ?
Thanks Mud,

Thanks Mud,
Larger wheels affect your gas with weight. Larger wheels weigh more if you have the same outer diameter. They also make it slower, harsher ride, limit off road use, or in some cases potholes can damage, towing, etc. 20" is pretty close to standard and you won't see any difference. 22" is starting to notice differences but liveable. Over 22" and you really start to get into territory where ride starts to suffer, etc. The largest I've seen is 28".
Also, I don't like the look of large rims. I think they will have the same longevity as the wings on the rear of civics and serve about the same amount of purpose. But that's my view. Many like them. Its your decision. I only have 20s because I couldn't fit 305s on the stock rims. I do think those rims are sharp and would look good in either 20" or 22". You should ask yourself if show or utility is more important. If you don't go off road, through snow, tow, etc. you may want the 22". ;)

TripleB is that really you? It was almost written with grace, poise, and tact. I think I'm about to shed a tear. (just kidding). Glad he didn't mention the dreadful "24's". At least we know where you are coming from and where you're going.

Did you say 24"s? Now I need to run around the house 6 times clicking my heels saying, "There's no place like home" over and over. Thanks! :crikey:
