They are standard on '05. Get them direct from Nissan or one of the Nissan parts vendors. You can attach them with 3M double sided auto tape. This comes in black and white and in different thicknesses. Get the thinnest in black. Clean the spot where you want to apply of wax, etc. with distilled rubbing alcohol. This is what automakers use to attach these to cars. I used this stuff to hold the fender flares to my vette. They stay on at over 150 so it should hold on the emblems. ;)

I'm not so excited about the V8 badging on the '05s. I like the lack of badging on my Armada - cleaner look.

I agree the clean look with solid colors is one of the things that set us apart from other SUV’s.

I have the Galaxy Black 04 Armada.
I bought 2 V8 badges from Nissan Dealer for $8.95 each.(exact ones on the 2005)
Just peel the backing off and stick it on.
Just make sure you stick them on straight.

I think it looks a lot nicer with the V8 chrome logo on the side. But this is totally up to each person's opinion.

Has measurements of where to put the logo and a picture.

Got the badges from the closest Nissan dealership.
I was going to mail order but they charge $6-$10 for shipping.
They pop up on eBay every once in awhile too for around $25 + shipping.
Not sure why people would pay more than $17 from the dealer?? for both V8 badges.

I removed mine because the clean look on my red brawn, I think the "SE" in the back is next to be remove so the Armada badge is the only one to see.

Id like to see how the 'Mada looks without the badges, can you post some pics after removal.

I just picked up an SE Offroad. The truck does not say Off Road on the side just V8 (kinda glad) but has all the SE Off Road options, skid plates...etc etc. and the sticker and VIN reflects that it is an Off Road. When I first saw it I was thiniking the dealer did a tire wheel swap  Looks as though Nissan may have changed the badging on this model Anyone know for sure?

Fishing line used like a saw, peel if possible, heat gun for the sticky. I'm going the opposite route looking at 4x4 badges to add to the tailgate. Maybe the one off the new Grand Cherokee? Gotta go to some dealers and check some sizes. ;)

I kept mine on. Took the SE off the back and looking to put the V8 in its place. I would love to get the same emblems in a graphite or even gloss black finish. Maybe take em to a shop to get done. Sould be real inexpensive to do since they are small. This should go with the black rims Im looking at also. HMMMMM, oh yeah thats what Im gonna do.

I agree. I'm a 04 owner that bought the V8's and stuck them on the sides. Just look at all the new Mercedes, BMW, and other high end cars with emblems on the sides. I think the V8 badge looks aggressive and has a bad *** factor like the grill up front has. And the bulging fenders.
Anyway beauty is in the eye of the beholder. or something like that.
