My wireless headphones (all 4) just stopped working in my 08 LE Armada. I changed the batteries in all 4 and I just can't get them to work. Is there a reset or something that needs to be done?

Everything else on the radio, etc. is working fine; it's just the headphones.

Any ideas would be much appreciated.

Thanks.

ok, you probably already noticed this but here goes as it may not be obvious - there is a button on front controls that has a picture of headphones - that toggles output from rear speakers to phones. Well that is the case on 07s, assume your 08 will be similar. Hope this is something new for you to try. If you already tried this, then next check would be something electrical.

Thanks, the control is constantly set on headphones because my kids watch movies, so it isn't that. I replaced all the batteries, still no luck. Thinking it must be electrical.

I would make sure the "Rear AV" is set to "ON" and the Headphones symbol shows on your Audio HUD display. If your IR is working, you can faintly see the red light from the IR Bar on the rear overhead console at nightime.

I have had it since it was new. Thanks though. I think it took a crap so off to the dealer (under warranty thank god) it will go.

I have had the same problem a couple of times and all I had to do was get the dvd running through the regular sound system and then push te headphone switch on the dash to turn them on in the rear and problem solved, After i do this I seem to not have any further issues until my wife call me and says she couldnt get something to work whether it be headphones music box , etc....anyways my assumption is that she or the kids are pushing something and not realizing it becauase I have never had the issue happen when I am in the car. Just my experience, yours may be totally different but it sounds similar to me.

What would the cdn be?Cdn is short for Canadian, I am a Canadian In Arizona :)

Hope you get a solution soon. The last post from SDak above made me remember something - every once in a while when we put in a DVD and after our son takes control with the remote from rear, then we hit button to go back to radio or cd up front - the headphones also switch. Solution is to toggle the button marked with headphone that I mentioned my last post - then hit radio again. Not quite same as your issue but I wonder if related.
