alright some of you may know that i recently changed my rear diff fluid and found chunks of metal in my differential. Well long story short the rear diff binds and slips. when i make a turn it feels like in 4hi or 4 lo and just judders like crazy. you can actually see the drive shaft slipping when you put it in gear. watch out people our spider gears may be flawed... just like the Titan.

How much crazy s#!t have you done in your QX56? I have read a lot of threads about the stuff you do. If you are honest with yourself, I think you can admit your QX56 has seen more abuse than 90+% of any other QX in North America.

I am not saying the rear axle isn't weak......but there aren't any rear diff failures between Armadas and QX56s that I know of until now. And a lot of the Armada guys tow heavy weight.

Parts break when a vehicle is driven hard (all the time). Something has got to give.

Do keep us posted though, I am curious as to how many miles you have now. And I'm curious what the dealership will charge for the work.

yea probably more like 95%. also probably has to do with the fact that before i received the car the fluid was never changed; YIKES! Everything is under warranty still. I'm still covered under the powertrain warranty as of now. I'll keep you guys updated on what they have to say about it though.
