Hash-Slinging Slasher

As some of you may know I have been in Japan the past 3 years and I had to leave the Armada in the states. We bought the Armada right before the Navy said... "You are moving to Japan"
But the family and I have been back for about a month now and enjoying the Armada once again. The kids absolutely love the room and the dvd player. They are used to this little bitty compact car that we had in Japan. The oldest boy remembers the "Hash Slinging Slasher" but the youngest he doesn't so it was an all new experience for him.
We have been pulling the 29ft travel trailer with no problems what-so-ever. We get a few weird looks at the RV parks when we pull in. I think they don't believe the Armada can pull like that.
But anyway we are glad to be back and I can't wait until I start the small modifications...

Yes... :D and I love it. I actually drove it 1088 miles today and have another 900-1000 to knock out tomorrow. I decided to drive to my training in MS rather than flying.

No. Actually I am attending Expeditionary Combat Skills in Gulfport. So have you been in MS before?

It sure is. I did have a little fun in the middle of Texas. No other cars on I-10 so I was more than able to see what she was capable of. :D

Yep, I was stationed at Keesler AFB in Biloxi for 5 years. One of the best assignements of my career. Had a few dealings at Gulport NAS. They didn't have gambling until after I left, but the fishing and golf was phenominal!
Gulfport is cool, but all the fun stuff is on highway US 90 between Gulfport and Biloxi. Also if you get a chance, go to Mary Mahoney's Resteraunt in Biloxi. Cajun, creole, and French food. Mmmmmm, mmm! Good food, I worked there part-time while I was stationed there.
Either way, enjoy it between your training.

Gulfport as an NAS? You must be a little confused. :2cool: It is a SEABEE base. No aircraft here. It is WAY different now than when I was here in the 90's. Highway 90 has 4011 stoplights between Gulfport and Biloxi now. I don't really care for it here. It is too hot and humid. :coolsun: :temphot: :1245: 115-120 heat index in full battle rattle. I guess nothing will get you more prepared for boots on the ground than this place.

Yeah I wasn't sure whether it was a NS or NAS or SEABEE Base.:duh: Maybe that's why ther used to be all of those darned fights! It has been so long (87 -92). Keesler is still an AFB ... RIGHT? :D
