You will need to strip all the paint off then progressively sand the rims starting from a 400 grit and progressively work to 2000 grit then you can polish it. Make sure to wear gloves when sanding or your hands with turn black. I tried this before but I only polished the lip on my wheels. It took me awhile to get it done. Not a bad idea if someone just wants the chrome look. That is similiar to the Chrome Cladding on the '08 - '10 models. Definitely not the same as the QX56, they come with chrome wheels, not cladded wheels. | ||
