Hard Disk: small 9.3GB hard disk used for navigation and audio.
Compact Flash: Can read compact flash or other memory card with adapter to compact flash containing MP3 or WMA files. Maximum of 512 files can be read. Will not play files with digital rights protection (no digital rights management in the audio system).
CD: Single CD player. Can rip CDs to hard disk; about 10 minutes to process a CD. Can play the CD while ripping. Can copy some information about ripped music to compact flash, which can then have the titles/album information updated over the Internet.
Sat radio: XM and XM traffic
HD AM: None
IPod: Analog Aux interface in dash with no control via audio system. Third party and Nissan system can access IPod but uses Sat radio interface, removing Sat radio and XM traffic. QX56 is only current Infiniti not supporting IPod.
MP3 and Video: can be played through Aux interface in dash and DVD player respectively using the devices native controls. Not digital or controls via the audio or DVD system.
Is that about right?
