I just bought my nav bezel from yournissanparts.
Mounted my 7" monitor in there.
I know you have to trim the radio panel - my question is: what part needs trimmed, the top, bottom, both?

So it was only the top that needs trimmed?
Any trimmed off the bottom
WHat did you put in the gap there to fill it in?

I bought this set up from a member on TT. It was already cut, i would have cut it a lot straighter, but there was No trimming at the bottom. I am thinking about cutting out a aluminum insert to cover the gap and back to the screen.

Hello my friend, I put a big piece of gray tape, my gap was like an 1" inch and I purchased this big almost 2" electrical wide gray tape. It looks like nothing happened. It been there for more than 2 years and is not coming out and it doesn't look ugly. I hope this will help you. is simple, easy and cheap. But it is up to you.

I had installed a Clarion N.I.C.E. System and Rear View Camera in my 2005 Armada. I wish to upgrade with a better system that offers Bluetooth and the latest softwares. Can anyone suggest a better (fixed) system that would fit the 7' bezel. I don't want a motorized display.

There is currently nothing that's available that has bluetooth built in from the major manufacturers. For some reason all the ones with bluetooth from all the companies come in smaller screen sizes. Magellan came out with a new 7in GPS but again it does not have BT. You might be able to get some Chinese made GPS systems that has everything you need(BT, back-up camera input, ...) but again quality becomes an issue but the good thing about those systems is they can be hacked to become mini computers, letting you install any navigation software you want and play any media you throw at it(audio and video).

I'm a newbie (haven't made the first payment yet) 2010 Armada Titanium owner. This particular vehicle was a fleet car, so it has many features that the Platinum does, almost everything except the nav system. When we were sold the vehicle, we were told it had a nav system in it, but soon found out that the salesman was mistaken. The dealership is willing to install a nav system. Anyone know what options would be good since I already have the DVD and camera installed (don't need a monitor installed)?

is there anywhere to find this setup that is done very professionally to maintain an OEM look? also, i'm wanting this for a dvd player/back up camera monitor.
Any thoughts?

Does anyone know who can hack the Clarion N.I.C.E system so as to install other applications including a bluetooth?
