Hey everyone!

We recently purchased a 2005 Armada SE with 54k miles. We got it at a wholesale lot, so there are just a few things that need fixed. I'm new to Nissans, so I'm not sure what their problem areas are, but so far, we really like the Armada. The first issue it that the rear blower blows all the time, neither the front or rear controls will change the output. If I use the temp control I can change it from A/C to heat, where the air comes out the floor vents. I was hoping someone has seen this before and can give me some advice. Also, there is a clicking sound that comes from the glovebox area when you turn the front fan or a/c on. I need to try it again, but it is intermittent. I'm not sure it if is when the a/c switch is turned on, or the fan is turned on. It never seems to do it when I'm trying to figure it out, just when I'm driving and turn it on and can mess with it. It will click upwards of 10 or more times. It sounds like a relay, but again, wanted to know of any of you have seen this.

Thanks for any advice you can give!

Matt

The clickings ound may be electrical or something rattling around in the filter location.

{EDIT}I looked at my system for a reference. When you use the climate control system and have your fan on for heat or A/C it blows in the front and rear on the floor. The switch in the front that is specifically for the rear is for the overhead climate control and they blow only when you turn the rear fan on from the front or the rear overhead controls.

I'll look into the resistor problem. That is a commom problem on Jeeps, but I've never had it happen to mine. Since the resistor for the front blower in located by the glove box, would the rear one be back by the rear blower in the back right side where the blower is? I have been looking at the manuals that are on CD on ebay. Anybody use one of these, are they decent?

Thanks

Update on the clicking from the glove box area when the front A/C is turned on. I have found that it happens when I turn the temp control knob all the way to cold. (single control, not the dual front temp setup). I'm thinking maybe the mixing door control for blending the warm/cold air if this vehicle has that setup. Waiting on my service manual to arrive to look into it more.
