Does anyone know of any? If so, do you have any experience with them?

Went rock crawling/4 wheeling this past weekend and the stocker ripped completely off, now I want something that can handle some abuse so I don't have to worry about crushing anything underneath.

Hmm, I wish somebody was making some quality aftermarket ones. I ripped the stock oil pan plate off of mine and don't want to replace it with another stocker...

The reality is the Armada/QX56 is not the worlds best off road vehicle. And not made in large enough quantities, even when the Titan is thrown in, for lots of aftermarket parts.

However it is pretty good stock, and there are enough parts to make it work pretty good in most environments. It just isn't a Wrangler with long arm suspension and 37" tires.

Another possibility is to reinforce the existing skid plate by welding a thick steel plate on top of it. In this case, the holes where the bolts go also need to be reinforced because the skid plate gets much heavier. You can weld thick washers for that for instance.

My factory skid plate was bent by previous hits when I hit it hard landing from a several meters long jump (the sand I was driving on at around 60 mph was actually much less flat than it appeared to be). The hit damaged my radiator which leaked from the bottom. Fortunately, I had enough water to refill several times and I was not too far from a city when it happened so I could reach a workshop before dark and have my radiator replaced the next day.
That was when I decided that a skid plate so thin and soft that I could bend it with my bare hands was useless. Back home, I hammered the skid plate approximately back to normal and took it to a place where they weld anything. I am much more confident now about the critical parts that the skid plate is meant to protect.
