Does anybody know if the QX56 LED taillights will work in the Armada? I don't mind the OEM's, but the LED's would be just little more stylin....

MHI the read here somewhere that they won't work. Something about relverse lights being in the bumper I think . Use the search function and you'll find the post . Peace !

You can do the swap but will not have the back up lights. Because on the QX the Back up lights are in the liftgate.

I was wondering 'bout the "bumper" statement. I was following a QX the other nite and noticed the LED tail light. I looked for the reverse lights in the bumper .. but couldn't find it?? But I did see .. what I thought were reverse lights in the tail gate.

I couldn't verify as we were on the freeway, and the QX wasn't likely to do any backing up ...

I haven't looked .. but how difficult is it to change the bulbs (I don't even know the type) in the tail lights? There are a few companies that make LED bulbs ..

I mod'd the tail lights of my "daily driver" (z31) to LEDs (changed bulbs) a while back ... gives the car a subtle different look at nite ...
