Hey guys, I notice when I am sitting somewhere for a while...like at a drive through or when I am in park for more than 2-3 minutes, as soon as I take off, my RPM goes high at 2500-3000K and the engine roars. It also switches gears at 3000. I know this is not normal. Any suggestions? I have an Injen CAI.

I was thinking I may have a loose connection, but the dealership doesn't think that would be the culprit.

This happens on and off...but more recently...like once a week or once every other week. Should I worry or is it cause I sit in idle for so long.

Something is wrong, it should never do that. Eventually, it should throw a CEL code, and that will help identify what the problem is.
