Just curious of how many parking brake "clicks" do you hear before the parking brake actually holds? I'm up to maybe 14 clicks and this is after adjusting the adjustment nut.

Should it be between 4-8 clicks?

hmm i've never tried to see how far i'd have to step in before the truck holds.

However I do go about 6-8 clicks in normally. That feels to be about 80% down to the floor.

hmmm ill have to remember to listen when i go out there in a few... i know one thing, when i have the brake on and i put the car in drive, the brakes HOLD that sucka in place! the car starts to move but it stops just as quick as it starts..

but yeah maybe mine is about 8 ish or so clicks.. when i had the 06 (bought new) at first it had maybe 2-3 clicks... then as of last year when i left it for the 08 (shh! dont tell Fatz.. (my new cars name) ) it went nearly down to the floor and it had 36K ish miles i think....
