lol .. I asked you 'bout your name in another post .. but I'll go 1st ..

"inqui-Z-tor" came about when I joined the z31.com forum (based upon the Nissan 300ZX, 1st Generation). I wanted a "Z" in the name .. and I tend to ask questions or "inquire" alot. Hence .. "inqui-Z-tor". Infact my car's license plate reads: NQ ZTOR

Rather than try to develop new "board names" for the different forums .. I just use the same one .. so I kept "inqui-Z-tor" for here ...

Armoody was an off the cuff username. I am pretty level headed but just in a bit of mood about something probably. I always try to come away from those occansional times remembering how fortunate I am to have a healthy family and live in the greatest country in the world, depsite our shortcomings, which we get to compain about and still live. I have a feeling that I might be preaching to the quire here. :D
Congrats to BK, kids are great and amazing. (And that's not the first time someone is going to tag a nickname on your kid..)

whooooo. A long day at the hospital. The little guy is awesome. My third child, and all which are boys. Thank you lord for a healthy one

Anyway, mine was kinda given by friends. I'm an @$$ guy when it comes to women and I use to analyze em so much as they walked by. My friends would make fun of me casue they say I took classes on it. Saying I got a PHD, and I over evaluate em, yadah yadah yadah. So a buddy was like "what do you think you are, a bootyologist". We all cracked up about it and it kinda stuck to me. As far as the 24 at the end of the name. As with all guys, or most anyway. Its the number I used while playing ball thru highschool and college. Whether it be Basketball, baseball, or football. It is my lucky number

SykoArmada
07-16-2005, 08:45 AM
Well, here ya go.
It's my nickname that has been with me since high school. I was the only 16 year old (back in the day) with a tattoo, trench coat, combat boots and a take no crap from anybody attitude. Long story short, I had to spend some time in the principal's office and he was asking me if I had mental problems. This got out and the "in crowd" thought it would be cool to call me psycho. I turned it around that I didn't take it as a bad thing to be different and started signing my art work as "Syko".
To this day alot of people I knew in high school don't know my real name and call me Syko.
I just added Armada for fun.

Syko :chainsaw:

I'm just real creative...

Actually, I was part of a moto forum that did NOT have registration and I simply went by sean. Then the forum got a little more popular and more seans posted so I started posting as SeanFromTX. Pretty soon folks were posting up as other folks with very unique names and the flaming and trolling began. That site finally just shut down.

Preceded by California (USMC stationed), Virginia (USMC training), Florida (college), New Jersey (back home again), Louisiana (dad in military), New Jersey (younger years), South Carolina (birth). Crushin is a hip-hop word I'm still not exactly sure what it means made popular by rapper "Big Pun". Just came to mind at that particular moment.

So, basically anyone that has been working with me over the past three years will recognize the "BEENCOUNTER" but I figured ya'all would think I couldn't spell.

Q. Whats ONYOCHIN?
A. Nooo, the question is "What is ON YO CHIN"?

Deeeeeezzzz Nuttzzzzz!!!

My name starts with a "D", so my friends used to call me "Deez". So this is when everyone was saying "Deez Nuttz"....

So years later... I became a computer geek, and got my IM name for MSN, and thought it would be fun to trick people to reading my name "onyochin" and since they know I am asian/pacific, they would think it was a korean/japanese word... so they would ask me the above! It is a little harder when I have clients IMing me asking what it means, and I just say it's a nickname.

* True Story:
I got an personal license plate saying ONYOCHN, and had to have a reason for the name... so it could pass. I wrote that it was a name of a close friend that passed away named ONYO CHANG... and it PASSED!!! I have retired it, but I would always get some people passing me laughing, and tapping their chin!! :D

Congrats Booty on the boy!

My nick came about shortly after we traded our very unreliable Dodge Durango 5.9l for a very reliable Honda Accord 2.4l 4cyl 5M :thumbdown . Don't get me wrong, it's a very nice car and all (especially with a manual) but stepping down from a 4x4 V8 to a FWD 4 banger left me feeling a little powerless :( ; no offroading, no snow playing, no beach cruising. But we cured that problem when we picked up our Mada back in Nov. . No more power problems now!

To be dorky, I used my nick for our plates on the Mada.

I remembered Qship from WWII terminology, so I looked it up:

Q-ship

A hidden gun on a Q-ship in World War I.The Q-ship or Q-boat was an attack vessel disguised as a civilian ships. It was used against German U-boats during World War I primarily by Britain and during World War II primarily by the United States. In the United Kingdom the vessels chosen for this service were code-named Q-ships by the Admiralty, but they were also known as Decoy Vessels, Special Service Ships or Mystery Ships. The Germans had similar ships called merchant raiders.

In automotive terminology, a sleeper. So it kinda fits in that regard. Faster than you'd think for a big SUV

cheezmo1
01-19-2006, 12:16 PM
I went to College with a guy that would call people cheesemo because of something "cheesy" they did. Cheesy as in poor quality or poor taste. "What a cheesemo!" So when we went to the bar to play that trivia game, cheesemo didnt fit for a user so I had to shorten it to cheezmo.
I was tired of people's names that were over the top and tyring to be cool like "dragonslayer", so I decided to do the opposite.
The 1 comes from me registering a yahoo account and lost the password so I had to add a 1 to get another account. I was in a hurry. So cheezmo1 stuck.

DJ+Disc Jockey. I use to Dj for 9.5 years when I lived in Germany
Joker=I was also a good host as a DJ and would always mess with the crowd making them laugh. Plus I'm always acting like a nut. My other nickname in Germany was Sinbad because I do favor him. But I'll tell anyone that ask me "did anyone ever tell you that you look like Sinbad?" and i would reply "Yes but I'm Sinbad on Slimfast." because i was much smaller in weight than him.

The 04 is for the 2004 Yamaha R1 that I have as my Dream bike because of the New Style. My license plate has DJOKER1 on it.

JCVader99 =

JC: my initials

Vader: I have been a big Star Wars fanatic since it's ORIGINAL release when I was 7 years old. I started using Vader as my logins online back when the Internet was just a bunch of colleges connected to each other.

99: As the internet got more popular, everybody in the world started using Vader as their handle so I couldn't often use the basic word for my logins any longer. I started putting my initials in front and the current year afterward. I did this from '95 through '99 and just stopped changing the numbers after '99. I kept forgetting which numbers I had used on which sites.

Thats it, nothing exciting, but a long history.

Great stories for lots of the names, here is mine.
Back when I was in high school, I worked at the local Mall. I was/am pretty tall 6'3. So my manager would ask me to get items down that he couldnt reach, so I would just stretch out and grab it. Hence the name stretch. My buddies would come hang out at the store, and they heard the name, then they started calling me that. Before I knew it, I was breakdancing (don't laugh, I did quite a bit of traveling) but anyways, my breaking nickname was STRETCH ROC. Well, longer story short, was in NY, and a few guys from JAPAN, who didn't speak english came up to me and said, "oh you stretch?" I was like what the hell. Then in TX, was at a club with my wife and couple guys rolled up on me asking if my name was STRETCH, I was like yeah, but not in a cocky way. THen they asked for my autograph, and i just started laughing, and told them no, I'm a nobody. My wife was cracking up, so I told her hey, Im famous!
